Swanrose
Training - Terms and Conditions
COSTS
Please see the course costs information on
our web site or request a printed copy. Swanrose reserve the right
to vary costs and such changes will be reflected in an updated list.
BOOKING
Your Application Form represents a firm contract between yourself and
Swanrose. As our class sizes are small (in order to maximise
the training experience) we cannot reserve any places until your
booking form and payment have been received.
PAYMENT
On receipt of your Application Form, we will raise an invoice for the
full amount of the course costs. Payment will be due immediately. Purchase
orders from existing customers provided on a company letterhead,
will be accepted but full payment should be made before the date
of the course. If payment is delayed Swanrose reserves the
right to cancel the booking.
CANCELLATION
If for any reason you cancel the booking within
two weeks of the date of the course you will not be eligible for any
refund. Cancellation prior to this time will incur an administration
charge of £25 + VAT, but the remainder of your payment will be
refunded. If Swanrose cancels the course then your payment will
be refunded in full.
COURSE
CONTENT
The course content should be in line with the ‘learning
points’ detailed in the appropriate course profile. However,
Swanrose reserve the right to vary this slightly to meet the individual
needs of a specific group and/or to reflect current technological developments. The
Application Form asks students to indicate if they have 'specific
objectives outside the scope of our standard course profile'. If
possible such topics will be included, but this is not guaranteed. Although
Swanrose takes great care to ensure the accuracy of information given,
the company cannot be responsible for any losses (financial or otherwise)
incurred due to decisions made on the basis of our training or consultancy
advice. Copyright
in the training course notes is held by Swanrose Video Training and Consultancy.
SUPPORT
Please note that any ‘free’ support offered is strictly
on the basis that it covers only the specific learning points included
in the course profile. Support outside this will be on a cost basis.
COMPLAINTS
PROCEDURE
We try very hard to please, and take criticism very seriously. In
the event of a complaint we would hope that you would first of all provide
us with the opportunity to set things right. Please detail the
nature of your complaint in writing and send to: The Course Director,
57 North View Road, Hornsey, London N8 7LN. We will write back immediately
to confirm receipt of your complaint and aim to provide you with a formal
written response within two weeks. Should you not agree
with our conclusions, you would then have recourse to the Arbitration
Service offered by the UK Institute of Videography of which Swanrose
is a member. The result of this arbitration would be binding on
both sides.
HEALTH & SAFETY
Swanrose has a Health and Safety policy
which, on request, is available for inspection at our London premises.

Free on road car parking is available at the London premises.
However, Swanrose cannot be held responsible for any damage or loss incurred

(e.g. trains, taxis) and accommodation is the sole responsibility of
the delegate.
PERSONAL BELONGINGS & EQUIPMENT

personal property. However, Swanrose cannot be held responsible
for any damage or loss incurred to delegate’s personal property
